History
Chiga was a witch doctor who lived among a unspecified tribe in the the Republic of the Congo during the 1950s. By 1955, seeking to gain dominance over the region, he used ancient magics to create typhoons which swept away the local warriors as well as hunter Greg Knight, depositing them on a far off plateau. Seeing Lorna the Jungle Girl as a greater threat, Chiga used his magics to dump Lorna in the deadly Grey Swamp where she had to fend off large reptilian creatures and man-eating plants. She ultimately found her way to the plateau where the others were being kept prisoner by hitching a ride on a massive vulture. There Chiga appeared to gloat over his victory but was shocked to see that Lorna had survived. Lorna leaped into his typhoon and battled him until the badly frightened mystic surrender to her superior strength and surrendered. Chiga was turned over to his tribe for punishment, his subsequent fate is unknown.[1]

Chiga is a minor mystic that can harness spells by reciting magic words. The only ability he has shown to date is the ability to summon miniature typhoons which he can use to transport one or two people and displace them to another location miles away.
