History
Carla Williams was a nightclub singer who worked in a French nightclub during WWII entertaining German troops, because she had been fed up with bigotry in the US. She was convinced by Gabriel Jones to return to the US with him. The two became engaged, but apparently never married (for reasons never revealed).
