History

Bryce Wyne was one of the wealthiest CEOs in the world. He was abducted by the time-travelling villain Golden Skull and replaced with a robot duplicate.

Bryce's doppelganger arranged a gala at the Wyne International Hotel in Miami, where countless of other influential businesspeople were invited and suffered Wyne's same fate, being replaced and becoming trapped in stasis tubes at the Golden Skull's base. Wyne and his peers were eventually rescued by the U.S.Avengers.
