History

Brother Francis and the other monks from his monastery raised the child, Feron for his destined role as the one to defeat Necrom.

However, when the boy did not bond to the Phoenix Force as they expected him to, they abandoned him to the team of super heroes called Excalibur to learn about the outside world.

The fate of Brother Francis and the others monks of the monastery after Feron left them is unknown.
