British Columbia was established as the sixth province of Canada in 1871.

20th Century

With the outbreak of World War II, British Columbia was infrequently visited by American super-heroes, often seeking out Axis spies. The earliest recorded instance occurred in 1942 when the Sub-Mariner was vacationing in the area. There he discovered that Canadian lumberjack Slug Gundy secretly assisting Nazi spies. The Sub-Mariner shut down the operation with the assistance of the RCMP[1].
