History

Born in Edinburgh Scotland, Bridgit lived a normal life until shortly after moving to Kinross, when her mutant powers first manifested. She kept them secret until, one day, while using them to light candles at her church, she was discovered by Reverend Craig. Saying she was possessed by the Devil, Craig made her feel ashamed of being a mutant, much like he'd done to Wolfsbane years before.

Needing a release, Bridgit left Kinross and visited a nearby forest, where she unleashed her powers to their full extent. This display of her power was spotted by Wolfsbane on Muir Island. Alongside Shadowcat and Meggan, the three members of Excalibur went to investigate, finding Bridgit at the center of the firestorm and learning her origins.
