Captain Britain and MI-13 Vol 1 13 Textless

During World War II, the Clock Tower of Big Ben was frequently used as a secret Allied meeting place. In 1942, the Allied Command decided that they should coordinate their efforts with the costumed battalion known as the Invaders. The Americans sent an officer named Colonel Farrow, while England provided the services of Major Rawlings. The first secret meeting inside of the clock tower involved a mission to capture three master saboteurs, the Hyena, the Shark and Agent Axis. [1]

In the shadow of Big Ben, Goliath ran into the Black Knight before tacking on the Whizzer; Goliath told him to not get involved, however the Black Knight interfered. This causes the Grandmaster to abruptly end the first phase of the contest against Kang, and whisked the combatants away for the second part, leaving the Black Knight behind to vows to help the Avengers[2].

In recent times, Big Ben became one of several London sites targeted by terrorists working for an A.I.M. subsidiary known as Radically Advanced Ideas in Destruction (RAID). MI-6 put together a team of independent operatives to combat RAID's efforts. The team consisted of Union Jack, Sabra, Contessa Valentina Allegra de la Fontaine and the new Arabian Knight. [3]

Earth-1610

Big Ben also exists in this reality and hopefully was not damaged when agents of Magneto detonated Britain's Parliament. [4]
