Synopsis for "Chain of Command!"Edit

As acting Avengers chairman, the Vision tries to quell public panic during his missing teammates' absence. Days later, the six Avengers and the other vanished costumed heroes reappear in Central Park. The team then holds a meeting at which the Wasp unexpectedly surrenders the chairmanship to the Vision. The android Avenger then proposes the establishment of a second team on the west coast, headed by Hawkeye, in response to the new threat of the alien Dire Wraiths.

  • The Vision becomes the chairman of the Avengers.
  • The Vision begins his experiments that will eventually connect him to every computer in the world.
  • The Vision decides to create a second branch of the Avengers and appoints Hawkeye as its leader. The idea being that two teams can better combat the coming threat posed by the Dire Wraiths.
