Synopsis for 1st story
Mighty Avengers #2
Following the appearance of the figure of a strange woman during the Mole Man's creature invasion, Ares attempts to attack her. Ms. Marvel stops him because she is worried that the woman might be Iron Man transformed or possessed. Mole Man asks the woman if she is responsible for the what happened to his underground home. The woman frankly confesses, calling it "collateral damage." Mole Man orders his minions to attack, but she easily repels and disintegrates them.
Ms. Marvel tries talking to the woman, but Ares insists on attacking it. The woman taunts Ares, enraging him to attack her with his axe. She repels the attack and sends Ares flying. As the Avengers retreat, Janet van Dyne says she will go talk to it because it is assuming her form. She asks the woman why she has a similar appearance, and she responds that it is because she loves her. Janet tells her team that Ultron is back to destroy the world.

Synopsis for 2nd story
Mighty Avengers #3
The newly formed Mighty Avengers face Ultron, now using a female form. Wasp asks her what she wants so that she will stop destroying the world. When Ultron responds with silence, Ms. Marvel orders the team to retreat so that they can plan strategy. While Sentry confronts Ultron, the rest of the team flies away. Ultron tells Wonder Man to retreat while he has the opportunity, but he continues fighting.
The rest of the Avengers fly to the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier and try to contact Henry Pym. When Henry refuses to answer the call, S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents break apart his romantic evening with Tigra. Ultron causes the Helicarrier to lose power and plummet to the earth. Sentry stops the battle to stop the Helicarrier, and the other heroes help him safely land it. Black Widow takes control of the Helicarrier. A robot based on Stark's original Iron Man armor flies in, telling them: "If you are receiving this message, Tony Stark is dead. Listen carefully..."

Synopsis for 3rd story
Mighty Avengers #4
Using an international broadcast, Ultron announces her plan to replace humanity with herself. The Mighty Avengers finish watching the broadcast and listen to the robot, who identifies itself as Starktech 9. It says it is programmed to assist the Avengers or S.H.I.E.L.D. in case of Tony Stark's termination. Ares slices the robot in half, but stops when Henry Pym says he created it as part of Tony's fail-safe program.
As Henry works to repair the robot, Starktech 9 says Ultron has taken over Stark's "Sular Experiment" consisting of satellites capable of controlling weather patterns. Sentry and Wonder Man work on destroying the satellites. Ultron announces she will instead work on "Plan B", first causing an international blackout. The Avengers scramble to save a aircraft from crashing. Starktech 9 tells them that Ultron could "take over" Iron Man because he had recently integrated his armor into his biology.
Ultron infiltrates Stark Tower and enter Lindy Reynolds bedroom. Lindy wakes up and screams, but Ultron hushes her, saying this is Plan B. The Avengers go to Stark Tower and confront and army of Iron Man's past armors controlled by Ultron. During the ensuing battle, on suit of armor tells Sentry that Ultron is putting his wife out of her misery. Sentry finds the dead figure of his wife in bed. After working on destroying the Iron Man suits, Ares says he knows how to stop her.
Meanwhile at a missile base in Lithuania, two workers report to missile command that they have power again. However, they soon realize that someone is looking for the missile codes.
