Synopsis for 1st story

Steve Rogers, Iron Man and Thor look upon the ruins of Asgard after the defeat of Norman Osborn, a S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, fighter jets and helicopters swarming over the devastation. Thor is saddened by the sight of his father's kingdom in that state, but Iron Man tells him anything can be rebuilt, like his armor. Steve, however, tells Iron Man that he is unsure if Iron Man should be allowed to keep his armor. The two former friends begin to argue about Iron Man's actions during the so-called Civil War, until Thor makes it clear he would be happy for them to leave if they continue fighting. The two of them assure Thor they're there for him.

Thor leads the two men into Heimdall's Observatory and explains that the portal within that allows travel between the Nine Worlds is broken, and he is concerned about the portal being accessed by those who shouldn't be able to access it. Iron Man detects an energy surge, and the three heroes are sucked into the portal, while their friends outside are thrown to the ground.

Tony wakes up in darkness with his armor unresponsive. Taking off his helmet, he sees he is in a field of purple grass, and his armor has no power. Taking out his repair kit, he starts to work on the armor, when a large shadow falls across him.

Steve meanwhile comes to in a forest at night, and sees two moons in the sky. Finding a village nearby, he enters an inn. He's greeted with silence by the Dark Elves within, until he tells them he's an ally of Thor, upon which they attack him. He tells them he just wants to know where he is, but is forced to fight them all and beats them. Picking up a circular shield and some other weapons, he leaves the inn.

Elsewhere, Thor awakens in a place he recognizes as Vanaheim, but realizes something is wrong as it is deserted. Exploring further, he is assaulted with a barrage of mystical force blasts. When he is on the ground, Thor hears a voice and looks up to see the Enchantress, surrounded by demonic-looking minions, who tells him she will have her vengeance upon Thor and his house...
