Synopsis for "I Died too Often!"

A man sees a cat fall off of a roof and is approached by a character who refers to himself as The Burier of Cats. This strange character tells the man that he can have the dead cat's nine lives if he wishes. The man accepts and goes on a crime spree where police shoot at him and use up the lives. He wants to kill his boss, but after the police bullets pass through him without effect, he knows that he has to be careful not to endanger himself. The employer's dog likes the man so he thinks committing the murder will not be a problem. When he arrives, the dog attacks him because he has strangely found himself transformed into a cat. He leaps off the penthouse roof, where he sees The Burier of Cats waiting for him to strike the sidewalk below.

A man's shadow betrays him when it makes his own body shadow the murderous acts it inflicts on other people's shadows. He tries to remain in the dark, but eventually he must go outside. After his shadow forces him to commit a third murder, the police pursue him. The police car bathes him in light and he attempts to surrender, but the police shoot him dead. The officer remarks that he saw the shadow begin to run off.
