Arturo Maxwell was a small-time arms dealer who helped keep some of Black Spectre's criminal cells armed. He attended an auction of supervillain technology held by Kaizo Kobashi, during which he was humiliated by Kobashi's Dreadnought. He was saved by Nick Fury disguised as an older man. When Fury was revealed, Maxwell lead an attack on Kobashi to steal all the weaponry, but was stopped by Fury and the Dreadnought. The Dreadnought was set to attract all metal and Maxwell got stuck. Kobashi then set it so that if Maxwell moved, the Dreadnought would self destruct. After Fury left the building, there was an explosion which presumably killed Maxwell.[1]
