Anulax Batteries are immense power sources with a highly combustible nature. On the black market, a single Anulax Battery is worth approximately 2,500 units.[2]
History
The Sovereign utilize Anulax Batteries as their primary power source. Unfortunately, having a large number of these batteries has made them a target. Nebula was captured attempting to steal some of these batteries. The Guardians of the Galaxy were later recruited be the Sovereign to defeat the batteries against an interdimensional beast that tried to feed on them. Because Rocket stole some of these batteries the Sovereign sent their fleet of drone ships to murder the Guardians and later recruited Yondu's Ravagers to capture the Guardians. Rocket eventually used the batteries to create a bomb to destroy Ego.[2]
