History

Circa 18,000 BC, Antilia was the daughter of Atra, the greatest human alchemist of the Deviant-controlled Lemuria.

With help from the Serpent-Men, Atra created the Serpent Crown, intending to use it against the Deviant emperor Phraug (unbeknownst to him, he was manipulated by the Deviants into creating the Crown for the Deviant emperor Phraug to wear. By the time of the Great Cataclysm, the Deviants demanded he deliver that new weapon to them, leading Antilia to learn of the plot. Antilia was shocked, as the Serpent-Men served the demon Set.

In order to unlock the power of the Crown, Atra had to sacrifice to Set the blood of an innocent or an enemy. Antilia urged him to reconsider his plan and reject Set, but Atra who worshiped Set as his own god slew her, considering her to be both.[1]
