During the war against England, Anthony Stark was captured and was forced to manufacture weapons, the painful tortures he was forced to endure had damaged his heart, the electricity powered suit he wears helps with his recovery, he seeks revenge towards the man who tortured him, David Banner.

History

1602: New World features a 17 century Spanish Iron Man named Lord Iron. Taken captive in the Holy Land during the English / Spanish war, he was forced to make weapons for them by way of weeks of torture by David Banner, the later Hulk of that world. He needs his massive armor to survive. The armor is powered by "lightning bottles" and provides him with super strength and invulnerability as well as several electricity-powered weapons.
