History
Anne Baxter was a government employee who worked at the American embassy in Russia during the time Natasha Romanoff was a Soviet agent and despite being on the different side of the fence they became friends. Anne also helped Natasha escape Russia when she decided to defect. Years later Nick Fury communicated to Natasha that Anne had been murdered and Natasha decided to investigate her murder.[1]
