When a Deathlok was sent past by rebels to kill one of his creators, Harlan Ryker, he instead killed his son Bryan and wife Anna, and wounded his daughter Rebecca. Ryker made the decision to try and save his wife and daughter, but failed to save Anna. He did however succeed in saving Rebecca, turning her into a new form of Deathlok, made from living people instead of dead.[1]
