History
Andy Clark was one of the replacements who arrived in Vietnam in February of 1967.[1] One month later, Andy was introduced by Sergeant Polkow to Lt. Alarnick, their new platoon leader.[2] The next month, Andy survived a mortar attack with Rob Little,[3] then he later participated in a pacifying mission in South Vietnam.[4]
In June of 1967, Andy got to know the new replacement troops.[5] Some time later, when Little was injured for trying to protect Alarnick from a grenade blast, Clark punched the officer out of rage.[6]
In August of 1967, Clark rescued Marine pilots Irish and Drum when their plane was hit by N.V.A. fire.[7] Following this, at the 23rd's headquarters, Clark was then interrogated about Alarnick's death.[8]See Also
