Harry Osborn[src]

History

Realizing his Avengers were missing "a heart," the then-top cop Norman Osborn created the American Son Armor for his son Harry Osborn. Harry temporarily wore the armor and title to fight his father, to save Spider-Man, and free himself of his father's hold once and for all.[1]

Later, a new individual purchased the armor from one of the men destroying Osborn's armory after his fall during the Siege of Asgard. This individual had been seen wearing the suit, which, according to the FBI , could "only be used by an Osborn." Gabriel Stacy was subsequently identified as the user.[2]

The armor was eventually destroyed by Harry Osborn during a fight with Gabriel at a burning warehouse. The only part of the armor that remained was the helmet in Gabriel Stacy's possession.[3]

Alternate Realities

Earth-12041

In this reality the armor is dubbed by as the "Patrioteer Armor" instead and lacks the bird symbol. It is one of various prototype suits for Norman Osborn's Iron Patriot Armor that Harry had found and took possession of so that he would be able to fend for himself and no longer be in need of protection, his father allowed him to keep it for his safety, thus began Harry's superhero carrier as the Patrioteer.

Notes

The armor was capable of producing an energy shield and a "light hammer."[citation needed]

Trivia

The armor itself was part of the American Son project, with other aspects being a combination of the Super-Soldier Serum derived from Steve Roger's blood and the Goblin Serum.[citation needed]
