Quote1 I let it all go by pulling her closer and everything else fades away. For a second.. the last second before my brain shuts off and I become all body, I can't help but think what a bad idea this is... And I smile. Bring It On. Quote2

Synopsis for "Long-Term Arrangement"Edit

Madame Web is held captive in the Upper East Side, given irregular meals, unable to bathe and placed in a room without windows. Tataina asks if she's dead, and proceeds to drug her with a lethal spider by forcing it down her throat; if she bites down it will kill her, so she must tell her what Spider-Man is doing in her visions (the spider induces her powers.) She manages to lie, stating that he is "surrounded by loved ones."

  • This is the first appearance of Madame Web since Amazing Spider-Man #600.
  • This issue is reprinted in comics and books, see references for more info.[1]

    Solicit Synopsis:
  • Look out, Spidey! Hot on the heels of his old girlfriend’s trip home, The Black Cat’s back (and front!), sexier and more dangerous than ever! The deck is STACKED as the one woman that loves Spider-Man more than Peter Parker is up to some devilish shenanigans…and nothing bugs Spidey more than shenanigans! BRAce yourself for danger, Spidey! It’s gonna be …umm…sexy?

  • The drugged spider that Tataina forces on Madame Web is referred to as "Mr. Anansi"; Anansi is a trickster, and one of the most important characters of West African and Caribbean folklore.
  • Hulk from Marvel's new Super Hero Squad Show can be seen on the giant television above the display of Spidey kissing Cat on the last page.
    • This issue ensures that Super Hero Squad is existed as fiction on Earth-616.
