Synopsis for "Spiderhunt, Part 2"Edit

Spider-Man has been framed for the death of a thug named Joey Z. (SM #88, '98) and the Daily Bugle has upped the bounty on his head to five million dollars. Spidey searches for Normie Osborn, kidnapped by the Green Goblin (SenSM #25, '98). Elsewhere, Black Tarantula requests permission to expand his operations to the city and Fortunato, spurning the Rose, welcomes him in exchange for killing Spidey. Meanwhile, Robbie finishes packing his things and leaves the Bugle. Spidey resumes his search for Normie when Tarantula attacks. Meanwhile, MJ parties with Shantal while Normie sits with the Goblin at a Brooklyn salvage yard, convinced he's with his father back from the dead. Tarantula nearly kills Spidey only sparing his life so he can find Normie but taking half his mask as a prize. Spidey flees a mob looking to capture him and ends up in Shotgun's sights.
