Synopsis for "And Now -- Spider-Carnage"Edit

Spidey and Peter learn the Spider-skeleton is an actual Spider-Man clone and that Ben's girlfriend Jessica Carradine is the Burglar's daughter (SenSM #3, '96). Meanwhile, Carnage terrorizes the city even though Cletus Kasady is safe in his cell. Seeking answers, Spidey follows Ravencroft guard Dickerson to an underground super-villain-worshipping club where Dickerson sells Carnage memorabilia filched from Ravencroft. Carnage attacks the club, and battles Spidey, escaping after bringing down the roof. Dickerson is arrested soon after for thievery. Seeking answers about the new clone from now-conscious Seward Trainer (since PPSSM #232, '96), Peter goes to the hospital. Seward, however, receives a phone call and changes his mind about seeing Peter. At the Daily Bugle, Jessica gets a job to photograph Spidey as a public menace. Later, Spidey tails Ravencroft security chief John Jameson, discovering him possessed by the Carnage symbiote. As they fight, the symbiote transfers over to Spidey. All bystanders flee except Jessica, who seeks a damning Spidey photo, but Spider-Carnage moves in for the kill.
