Synopsis for "The Fury of X-Factor!"

Reporters accost Flash's lawyer Sharon Banks over her client's jailbreak, but she gives no comment. Captain Kris Keating promises to bring Flash in.

Meanwhile, Mary Jane leaves Alfredo Morelli's condominium after having passed the night out together to go to Peter's apartment. There she finds Peter passed out in his bathroom. At the Bugle, Robbie tells Jonah that Flash can't be the Hobgoblin and he has pictures to prove it, but Jonah becomes distracted by an X-Factor commercial, later hiring them to hunt down Spider-Man.

Peter wakes up in bed, where MJ put him. X-Factor demand and receive a $50,000 retainer from JJJ. Learning of Flash's escape, Peter slips away from MJ as Spidey. X-Factor finds him but the concussed, confused web-slinger fights them. Elsewhere. Robbie gives Sharon Banks his photographic evidence to help Flash. During their fight Spider-Man saves Marvel Girl from falling and passes out. X-Factor decides to return Jonah's retainer, telling him Spider-Man isn't a mutant and therefore out of their jurisdiction. Enraged, Jonah demands a smear campaign but Robbie threatens to quit. Spider-Man wakes up in X-Factor's van. Iceman explains they were trying to help, not truly capture him. Jonah lets Robbie know he isn't running the X-Factor piece.
