Synopsis for "The Rules of the Game!"Edit

Mary Jane storms into Peter's apartment, insisting that Flash can't be the Hobgoblin but is interrupted by a call from Matt Murdock asking Pete for help. At Sister Maggie's rescue mission, Matt tells Peter about the Kingpin's slow dismantling of his life after discovering his identity (DD #227-228, '86) and begs Peter to leave the Kingpin for him to deal with. Peter promises, but, concerned the Kingpin may also know his identity, pays him a visit that gains him nothing. Frustrated, Spidey leaves, but throws the gauntlet down by webbing Fisk's chair, causing him to be stuck in it until the webbing dissolves.
