Synopsis for "The Commuter Cometh!"Edit

At Mister Fred's Fashion Designs, Spider-Man spies a thief, Ron, who uses a fake gun and a mannequin as a hostage to escape to the subway, though tagged with a spider-tracer. Ron returns to his suburban Scarsdale home, out of range of Spidey's spider-sense. Using his old spider-tracer tracker, Spidey arrives in Scarsdale where he encounters all sorts of difficulties not seen in the city. Just as Spidey zeros in on his tracer, Ron finds and destroys it. In a subsequent chase involving Ron's car, Neighborhood Watch member Irving's car, a cab, bus, and garbage truck, Spidey captures Ron. Viewing the ensuing melee involving police, cabbie, Irving, Frieda, & Shana, Spidey can't wait to get back to the city for some peace and quiet.

Solicit Synopsis:

He's The Commuter — and his business is crime! The only way Spidey has to stop him is to track him to his lair — wherever the trail might lead!

This comic is referenced in the movie Spider-Man: Homecoming when Peter is chasing Toomes' crew members through the suburbs of what is presumed to be Westchester County. Peter jumps over a gated home and slides across the top of a car whose New York license plate we can briefly see is 'ASM 267'.
