History

Magma was a Brazilian student and a member of the X-Men subset known as the New Mutants. She was getting used to electricity and other inventions, as if she had not been in contact with technology all her life. During a vacation trip to The Bahamas, Magma's association with volcanoes was clearly emphasized.

Notes

• This version of of Magman appeared in the X-Men: Evolution animated series. The episode "Cruise Control" focused on her in particular. Her connection to Nova Roma was never directly mentioned.
