Alchemax was a MegaCorporation active in the United States of America during the year 2099 A.D. It created products for virtually every consumer need, had entered into endeavors normally deemed non-profit, and even manufactured an entire city to be maintained exclusively by the corporation. Alchemax had divisions affecting nearly every level of consumer need, society, and government. Their products ranged from consumer products to military weaponry and private space travel. Alchemax owned several private police forces, including Public Eye and Eco Central.
At some point, the alien known as Avatarr took control of the Corporation's Board of Directors, becoming the C.E.O. Since he wanted to keep his very existence secret from the public's knowledge, Avatarr decided to operate behind the Executive Directors of his Board, assigning everyone a different Department to lead.
Alchemax's Research & Development Department was located at the Alchemax Genetics Building in Nueva York, directed by Vice President Tyler Stone. Miguel O'Hara, Stone's secret biological son, worked there as the leader of Corporate Raider Program; after an incident, he obtained the powers of the Heroic Age Spider-Man, becoming the Spider-Man of the year 2099.
Public Eye was a Private Police Force owned by Alchemax; its head was Vice-President Tyler Stone, although Public Eye officers received orders also from Alchemax Director Fearmaster. Its field-leader was known as the Chief.
Eco Central was an anti-pollution Police Force subsidiary to Alchemax, located in a building in Nueva York. It was originally directed by C.E.O. Paul-Philip Ravage, who was subordinated to Alchemax's Chief Executive Anderthorp Henton; after Ravage discovered that Alchemax used Eco Central as its public relationship face to hide their illegal activities, he left Eco, and Henton took over his position.
Finally, Avatarr appointed Anderthorp Henton as the public-face C.E.O. of Alchemax, letting him in charge of the Alchemax Headquarters. Retired from a public career, Avatarr personally directed the shadowy Military Department located at the Alchemax Tower, as well as the Aesir / Valhalla Project.
After having seen the failures of his Directors, Avatarr emerged from the shadows and organized a Board meeting at the Alchemax Headquarters; there, he appointed Fearmaster as the new C.E.O. of Eco Central, killing the previous one, Anderthorp Henton, who had revealed to Ravage some of the Alchemax's secrets contained in a disc in his office.
Avatarr was then killed at a meeting between the C.E.O.s of the several American MegaCorporations ordered by the new President, Doom; he was revealed to be an alien, who had infiltrated himself inside Alchemax several years before, possibly during the Heroic Age, having some kind of relationship with Spider-Man.
Immediately after Avatarr's death, Tyler Stone was nominated as the new Alchemax C.E.O. directly by President Doom, as well as Doom's Minister of MegaCorporation Affairs. Then, Stone decided to have his biological son, Miguel O'Hara, filling his previous position at Alchemax, Director of Research & Development, making him the Vice President of the corporation. However, Stone was shot by his ex-lover Conchata O'Hara, and he went in a comatose state.
When he awoke from coma, Stone tried to regain the control of Alchemax by Miguel, also revealing he was his biological father; since Miguel already knew the truth, that information had no impact on him, who ordered to Alchemax Security to take Tyler outside from his office, and had doctors identifying him as mentally unstable. Miguel then became the new C.E.O. of Alchemax.
As the new C.E.O., Miguel worked to turn Alchemax into a better corporation, remaining the head until year 3099, when he left the corporation's control to the Board of Directors to live his last days with his wife Xina.

- As of when Tyler Stone got shot, Miguel O'Hara has taken over Alchemax to became a a great corporation. Alchemax is responsible for the birth of Degens, mutated humans with no legal rights or existence, and who find refuge at the Degen Hostel, funded by Matt Axel, and are tracked by Gene Guards, racist murderers, and Alchemax's commandos. The creations of Degens occurs in drugs tests such as the energide, or the Red Dog project. The conditions of Degens seems to be genetically transmissible.
