Akkharia was one of the southernmost city-states of Shem during the Hyborian Age,[4] and was ruled by King Sumuabi during the Age of Conan.[5][1][2]

In Earth-90816, Logan was abandoned by the Watcher in the Hyborian Age near Akkharra, where he met Karanthes, a priest of Ibis who was recruiting soldiers of King Sumabi. He later met Red Sonja, and they both agreed to protect Karanthes from being kidnapped by Conan. The Cimmerian nevertheless managed to bring both the priest and the Hyrkanian before Zukala, who promised him to bring Belit back to life. The evil wizard then summoned the demon Jaggta-Noga, who hurled Conan in the Well at the Center of Time. Logan eventually managed to kill Zukala and his demon, rescuing Karanthes and Red Sonja, who fell in love with him and became his bride.[3]See Also
