History
Abwama was a corrupt native chief who sold slaves to anyone seeking cheap labor.
He was hired by mining engineer Lester Drake who needed slaves for his ill-gotten gold mine. In exchange for slaves, Lester paid Abwama in blankets, whiskey, and other gifts. Eventually Abwama was given weapons to better collect more slaves and elephants for the mining operation. His increase in power caused Abwama to begin vying to take over all the local tribes.
Eventually, the operation gained the attention of Ka-Zar who took it down by causing an elephant stampede that saw Lester and Abwama trampled to death. [1]Attributes
