History

The Zodiac Key is made of an unknown material. The holder may control vast psionic forces, enabling him or her to teleport and fire energy blasts. The key can also be used as an infinite energy source for machines. The key is capable of complicated mater manipulation as it was shown creating a restructuring LMD. It can rejuvenate teh weilder as well, keeping Jake Fury in peak human condition, though he should have been an old man.

The key may also be capable of independent thought, and will sometimes resist it's user's commands. It once restored Jake Fury's body after he was grievously wounded without being commanded to do so. It also created a robot body for Jake once reconstruction was no longer possible.

The Key get its power from an extradimensional source and is fueled by the constant struggle between good and evil, being most powerful when the forces are equally balanced

Notes

• The Zoidac key has been credited with giving a unique sentience to the Nick Fury LMD: Max Fury as detailed in Secret Avengers #5.
