Synopsis for "Born Warbird"Edit

Since she was a little girl, Ava'Dara Naganandini has been training to become a soldier of the Shi'ar Imperium.

As she grew, Ava'Dara had become Warbird Delta. During a mission on Chandrila, Ava'Dara single-handedly killed a terrorist cell. After killing all the terrorists, Warbird found a small boy. Although her mission was to kill everyone present, Warbird decides to spare the boy, telling him to run away. Later, the boy was caught stealing food and was sent to a mining station in a distant galaxy.

Now, she is the Royal Warbird, fighting the X-Men alongside the Emperor; Gladiator. During the fight, she manages to hurt Emma with her own sword. However, Gladiator pulls her out of the fight, reminding her that she must protect his son.

As she goes to find Kid Gladiator, Warbird fights Iceman, cutting his body to pieces. Warbird expresses sorrow that circumstances made them enemies, and kisses Iceman's disembodied head. As she leaves, Iceman is confused by Warbird's actions. She finds Kid Gladiator, but he refuses to leave, saying that they must help his father.

Meanwhile, Gladiator fights Cyclops. Although Cyclops reminds that the X-Men and the Shi'ar have been allies, Gladiator refuses to be an ally of the Phoenix. Suddenly, Colossus and Namor attack Gladiator, brutally beating him down hard.

Kid Gladiator violently tries to reach his father, but Warbird, following orders, is forced to beat him. Hours later, Warbird and Kid Gladiator bring the badly hurt Gladiator to the Jean Grey School to recieve medical attention.
