The Kingpin was the boss of Weapon X's Daredevil. After Daredevil returned to his home reality, the Kingpin, sitting in his office and smoking a cigar, was impressed with Daredevil's dramatic entrance and asked him where he had been all this time. Daredevil told his boss that it was a long story and he wouldn’t believe the half of it, he then asked if the Kingpin didn’t give his job away.

Kingpin apparently didn't give Daredevil's job away, and watched as his agent worked.
