History
The Void is a maximum-security prison backed by the Weapon X Project that is used to house dangerous mutant criminals. At the time when Wolverine infiltrated the prison to confront Abraham Cornelius and Carol Hines about the Part B of the Shiva Strain Virus, he encounters Colossus who has been hired to "enhance security." Meanwhile, Sabretooth infiltrated the prison where he released it's Alpha-Class inmates. After getting Part A of the Shiva Strain Virus, Wolverine made his way to the roof to relay the information to Professor X. Afterwards, he helps Colossus subdue Juggernaut. After Juggernaut is defeated and placed back into his cell, Colossus informs Wolverine that the other Alpha-Class mutant inmates Magneto and Omega Red also escaped. While Magneto was defeated by Wolverine at a steel mill, Omega Red is still at large.[1]
