When Robert Reynolds found out that Osborn (the one person Robert had trusted) had been lying to him the entire time and had ordered Hawkeye (Lester) to kill his wife the Void finally fully possessed him, and went on to kill all life on earth, destroyed the moon and continued so throughout the universe.
