Victor Prazniki is an extremely wealthy and influential man as leader of the Machinists' Union. He came into possession of the sword Raven's Eye, which is said to be cursed. He began getting threatening phone calls, saying that they would kill his wife and daughter if he didn't give them the sword. He hired Thor and Amora to protect them until he could get rid of it. But they were captured and he agreed to surrender the sword to what turned out to be Loki.
