The reboot of the reboot of Spider-Man hasn't come out yet, but Sony must have high hopes for Andrew Garfield's portrayal, because they're already planning the sequel for The Amazing Spider-Man 2!

Although The Amazing Spider-Man won't hit theaters until July 3, 2012, the studio has already set upon the sequel to be released on May 2, 2014 with Andrew Garfield as the titular superhero and James Vanderbilt writing the screenplay.
