I see it as a way to "Pass the Torch", after all Tony is the One True Iron Man, but he ain't gonna stay forever on that suit right? After all his personal issues with breaking his sobriety during Fear Itself, he needs to focus on both his company and his duties as a hero but that pays a toll on him

oh gees well don't i feel foolish well i don't want him to quit i mean hes been iron man for so long he cant quit just because a few people out no tony is the guy we know who comes back stronger from defeat.

When I saw the cover, the first thing that I thought of was: "Are Marvel really desperate to kill off another just to increase sales? First 'Death of Ultimate Spider-Man', and now this!" Cause that's what I think this cover looks like, Marvel's equivalent to 'Death of Superman'.

I don't think Tony would quit being Iron Man, and if he does I hope it's not for many time... IMO, Rhodey could be a good Iron Man (again)... but who esle with a arc reactor, an armor in his esqueleton and being a man could be Iron Man?

Yeah but...does it has to be mandatory to have the arc reactor stuck on your chest? Maybe Tony would find a suitable subject to pass the mantle for the armor

Ya know... I think if they introduce a brand new character who is a friend of Tony Stark that takes up the mantle, it could go good! "Deric Lanson AKA Iron Man"
