I kept reading fairly infrequently but I caught the Secret Wars UK reprints which I loved, Secret Wars II UK reprints had alot of the US seperate tie-ins, especially the Fantastic Four so I got alot of the John Byrne run and still see She Hulk as a member to be honest. Anyway, mainly I read Spidey, then came "Acts Of Vengeance" which kinda got me hooked on most of Marvel.

Then came the early to mid 90's when gimick covers ruled and 'Maximum Carnage' hit Marvel..

So I walked away...

Well, except for dipping into the Clone Saga. Luckily I only caught a few of the key issues and had to fill in the blanks myself, which resulted in a greater appreciation of the idea than most seemed to have at the time.

After a longer period away from Marvel I then bought the Earth X book, and loved it. It seemed to be a fitting goodbye to the world I loved. But then I made the mistake of buying the follow up book, which I can't even remember the title of, guess I've pulled a Norman Osborn and blanked it out of my mind. So I left again, not really thinking I'd be reading anything else.

Civil War caught my interest though.

Then I read Spider-Man:Blue.. now that's the Spidey I love. Jeph Loeb should definately write more Spider-Man.

So I'm once again ensnared within the Marvel universe.

Bring on World War Hulk!
