This vial was saved by Iron Man for emergency use and incorporated into his Iron Man Armor MK IV: once hit, it would freeze and solidify almost instantly. It was used in Washington, D.C. against Titanium Man, but he managed to shatter the ice shield which had formed about him[1].
Later, Iron Man used it again in Central Park against the animated statue of Fangor. The monster froze in the following moments and Iron Man took his chance to ram it and destroy it.[2]
