Toshiro Mori is an Okinawa-based businessman with connections to Hydra. After a squad of Hydra operatives attacked the United Nations while disguised as S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, S.H.I.E.L.D. was able to track a specific kind of weapon used in the attack to Toshiro Mori. Agents Melinda May and Bobbi Morse and the mercenary Lance Hunter were sent to Okinawa to see what he knows about Hydra's plans. May and Hunter waited on the plane while Bobbi Morse, who knew Mori from her days working undercover at Hydra, flirts with him to get any information out of him. While he tells her a team of Hydra agents are being sent to Belgium to kill Julien Beckers, Hunter intercepts a Hydra directive blowing her cover. Hunter barges in to save Bobbi, and with her cover blown she takes down Mori. While Hunter and Bobbi began arguing, Mori attempted to raise his gun, only for the two to shoot him dead without looking.[1]
