HistoryEdit
Thori was one of the seven Hel Puppies given to Loki, the God of Mischief, from Garm, the mother, since she couldn't look after them herself and because Loki was responsible for getting her impregnated when he sicked Hel Wolf, the father, on her during his journey into Hel.[1] Along with Leah, Hela's handmaiden, Loki found homes for six of the puppies, leaving one who inherited his father's vicious and bloodthirsty nature. As a result, the All-Mother ordered Loki to kill the puppy, claiming that he was beyond salvation. However, seeing a bit of himself in the dog, Loki ultimately couldn't do it and decided to keep it, naming him "Thori" and saying that he was a good dog. Thori was later left in Leah's care in her cave near Asgard.[2]
After Daimon Hellstorm joined Loki to help him defeat Nightmare, Thori seemed infatuated with Daimon and asked him to be his master, much to Loki's exasperation.[3]
Powers and AbilitiesEdit
Powers
Thori has been shown to have flames exuding from his mouth, and an ability to speak, so it is possible he has other higher cognitive functions. He also has the ability to track beings across dimensional planes.
TriviaEdit
He was named after Loki's brother, Thor. Interestingly, when Loki named Thori, his memories of Thor had been erased, meaning there was still a part of Loki that remembered his older brother.
