History

Thiago Piranha was one of the gladiators in "The Arena," an underground fighting ring for mutants in Rio de Janeiro. On the night Cable and his young friend Xande attended a match, Thiago was up against the champion, Juliana Jararaca, who easily deflected every electric blast Thiago sent her way with her telekinesis, and ultimately killed him by making his head explode.
