I don't think we should move Cosmic Entities/Gods unless we know for sure than an alternate version exists. I'm sorry you think Marvel is being offending to your. I love ancient mythology and I always thought of it as honoring Hinduism. Hindu Religion is full of wonderful and extraordinary tales of good against evil that I know most Westerners will never read or bother to look up. I known Vishnu and the modern Hindu deities no longer have anything to do with their Ancient Aryan and Dravidian counterparts, but knowing more of your culture and beliefs make me that much much more fascinating to me.
