The Move Edit

I added a move stub today (been meaning to for a while) in order to meet the site policy regarding page names. Nelson is the name of her deceased husband. Grant is her maiden name. --GrnMarvl14 19:23, May 21, 2010 (UTC)

Don't forget to copy/paste the same move tag to the alternate universe versions too, they should ALL be corrected if the lead is wrong...

In New Avengers #35, The Hood calls Greer's mother, Janet Garson, and calls her on the phone. This would indicate that either Greer's mother remarried after her biological father, or Greer's maiden last name is actually Garson. Anyone have more info on Garson?

It's definitely Greer (last, post-that-issue Handbook profile confirms that). But it also confirms her mother as Janet Garson (and her father's last name as Greer). Keep in mind, her father MIGHT be dead (there's an issue of Marvel Super-Heroes where he's close to dying. Since we've never SEEN him die, there's no reason to truly think he IS dead, though), so Janet might have gone back to her maiden name.

Okay, good. I had just been researching The Hood's appearances, and saw that one odd reference. I wonder if Garson is her maiden name or her new married name....

Oh, one other thing, the profile mentions her mother as dead. Did she die after New Avengers #35?

I honestly can't remember (I didn't even remember the Garson thing. Had to check the Handbook). Only reason I remember her father's status is because it was a fairly large plot point in that Marvel Super-Heroes story.
