Mutant? Edit

This character has been categorized as a mutant. Now while he is a mutant in the traditional sense, is he also a mutant in the Marvel definition of the term? Which is to say, does he possess the x-gene? Can he be picked up by Cerebro, etc? Is there a source somewhere that states that Blade is an actual "mutant"? --Brian Kurtz 16:25, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

I would think not...plus in that frame of thinking Spider-Man would be a mutant because the spider DNA combined with his. I would consider both to be Mutates. -- M1shawhan 23:41, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

He's a mutate. He was affected by the attack on his mother, being bit by Morbius, and something in the MAX series IIRC. koku 01:25, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

Umm Blades English as shown in one of A-Z of the Marvel Universe handbooks and Civil War: Damage Report (or is it Battle Report?)
