Synopsis for "The Dreadful Disguise"
Nick Jacapo, a runaway criminal, enters a navajo village wanting their medicine to take out a bullet from his leg. The medicine man does that but also reveal as a worshiper of snakes he can change appearence by shedding skin, Jacapo ask to receive the power and drinks a potion for it. The police truly never finds him...because he has turned into a snake!

When a miser buys a old house and tries to hide his money beneath the floor boards he finds three corpses, longing for companionship old hartley begins to treath them like friends. Months later the corpse's killer returns to bury them but upon fiding the hinding place empty has a hearth attack and falls on it, Hartley later returns and thinking the unconcious man is dead nails him shut with his other "friends' and so the killer suffocates to death.
