When the remaining members of the Fantastic Four retaliated for the Reed Richards' execution by order of Lilandra, Starbolt along with the other members of the Imperial Guard except for Gladiator were sent to stop them. However, the remaining Fantastic Four members used their Skrull saucer, which they had equipped with Annihilus' Cosmic Control Rod, and accidentally destroyed the Shi'ar throneworld, Starbolt included.[citation needed]
