History

The ruby is sentient-- sensitive to human brainwaves on a seemingly cosmic scale. It is of course immobile and therefore needs a host to speak it's thoughts and act as it's protector. In 1933 it was found in the Ruins of Dashetal and upon contact-- host and gem became one, the Red Rajah. However in it's eagerness to inhabit a human form it took one with no mystical prowess, it's body was originally powerless, Omar Karindu shot and killed the host. Since then the Cult of the Unliving Four has kept it in check.

Notes

Despite accounts surviving from time of ancient Lemuria, the actual existence of this ruby is still in doubt by some mystics.
