History

Stan Lee (Earth-616) is randomly seen in various places in the Marvel Universe. Lee and his then comic collaborator Jack Kirby originaly had an agreement with the Fantastic Four that the Super Group would share their adventures with them so that Lee and Kirby could publish factual accounts in their comics. Lee's role in the Marvel Universe is often a benevolent or humorous one. Lee and Kirby were refused entrance to the wedding of Reed Richards and Susan Storm. Although he threatened legal action, he apparently reconciled with the team of Super Heroes. Lee sometimes laments (as he did in X-Men 98) that comics have changed since he was the creative head of the company.

Lee is also often seen in Marvel silver screen productions. He has had cameos in Spider-Man, X-Men, Hulk, and Iron Man.
