Sprite was part off the immortal off-shoot of Humanity known as the Eternals. Unlike the more stoic and noble members of the race he is considered a trickster much like Loki of the Asgardians. He tormented humans for centuries but his crimes were always punished by the leader of the Eternals Zuras.
